Sunny Day Therapy’s Mission
Empowering Families through Compassionate, Creative Care
Sunny Day Therapy enhances independence and well-being in children. We promote connections- through building relationships and access to educational tools and resources. We build strong bodies and minds through motor strengthening, reflex integration, executive function, and sensory integration therapies.
Sunny Day Therapy is devoted to improving nervous system regulation and holistic strength across the lifespan. We use a family systems model to provide education and to empower clients during seasons of stress and occupational disruption. We also provide education on infant massage, sensory health, and maternal health occupational therapy to address the needs of the perinatal period and beyond. We serve families – kids, teenagers, and adults. Anxiety is a problem that keeps people from completing their daily activities. We are here to help with physical calm down strategies, environmental strategies, motor strengthening, reflex integration knowledge, sensory strategies, and executive functioning strategies (brain boosting internal strategies). Sunny Day Therapy’s Story Power programs and tools give clients strategies and a voice to take ownership of their problems and have choices on ways to calm their body and mind.
